Outpatient Therapists must be either fully licensed as an LPC or LCSW through the respective licensing Board in Virginia. Outpatient Therapists may also be Residents in Counseling or Supervisees in Social Work through the Board of Virginia.

School-based outpatient counselor (LPC, LCSW, Resident in counseling, supervisee in social work)

Connected Communities is currently seeking School-Based Outpatient Counselors to join our growing team.

Mental Health Support Specialist

Connected Communities is currently seeking Mental Health Support Specialists to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate for this position would have a background working with youth and/or adults that have mental or behavioral health diagnoses. Additionally, the ideal candidate would have worked in a community-based setting or residential treatment facility.

Practicum & Internship opportunities

Connected Communities is also a practicum and internship site for psychology, social work, human services, and counseling majors.

If your school requires a practicum and/or internship, Connected Communities can provide you with a robust practicum and internship experience. We are currently a practicum and internship site with Shenandoah University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Liberty University, Old Dominion University, and Capella University.
